Yeast Expression

    Yeast is an eukaryotic organism and has some effects for protein expression as compared to E.coli. Yeast cultures will be grown to high densities, that makes them particularly useful for the production of isotope labeled protein for NMR. Saccharomyces cerevisiae has proved to be useful for expression and analysis of eukaryotic proteins.
