Point Mutation

Point mutation is a type of mutation that causes the replacement of a single base nucleotide with another nucleotide of the genetic material, DNA or RNA. DNA replication occurs when one double-stranded DNA molecule creates two single strands of DNA that's a template for the creation of the coinciding strand. Point mutation can change the DNA sequence. Point mutations may arise from spontaneous mutations that occur during DNA replication.
One of the cell metabolic byproducts, reactive oxygen molecules with free radicals, also can be harmful to DNA. These reactants will result in fiber DNA breaks and double-stranded DNA breaks. The bonds in DNA eventually degrade, that creates another problem to keep the integrity of DNA to a high standard. There can be replication errors that result in substitution, insertion, or deletion mutations. Bioabb provides our customers with a professional point mutation, in the original DNA fragments delete, insert or replacement a sequence of DNA and other services.
